Hi, welcome to my page! First, let me tell you a little about my professional credentials so you know you'll be in safe hands.
I have a Master of Science in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology along with a background as a registered Nurse, Solution Focused therapy and NLP which allows me to provide an integrative approach.
How my personal life experiences have informed my practice
I believe my personal lived experience has profoundly shaped the way I support my clients. As a neurodivergent woman, I navigated the challenges of overcoming an autoimmune condition, Myasthenia Gravis, while also balancing life as a working single mother and carer to two young adults with autism.
These experiences became the catalyst for my journey to find practical, effective solutions, first to support my own wellbeing and resilience, and later to enhance my professional practice. They have given me a deep understanding of the complexities people face and the importance of feeling truly seen, heard, and understood.
Today, I bring that lived experience into my work with genuine authenticity, empathy, and compassion. I believe this helps create a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust and understanding, enabling my clients to feel safe, empowered, and supported as they make meaningful and lasting changes in their lives.
While my professional training provides the knowledge and evidence-based techniques I use, it is my personal journey that allows me to connect with clients on a deeply human level and support transformative growth with both confidence and compassion.
